Vrittis
-
In yoga, vrittis are fluctuations that can influence our consciousness.
-
One of them causes suffering through our false perceptions, insecurities, powerful emotions, and assumptions based on 'incorrect knowledge'—they can generate unnecessary stress, pain, and suffering, fostering fear.
-
From this suffering, we construct images, visualisations, and projections rooted in our fears and devoid of truth.
-
Our projections shape our perceptions. We become so entangled in the narratives we create for ourselves that we disconnect from the potential of love and instead embrace fear.

Gratitude + Appreciation
The journaling practice I’m sharing is just one of many ways to journal, but before I introduce this exercise, I want to emphasise how crucial I believe it is to make room for our fear. This requires expression, not suppression.​

This is an appreciation and gratitude journaling practice: the overflow of appreciation.
​
Gratitude + appreciation are manifestations of the potent energy of love. We can shift the atmosphere of fear with appreciation and gratitude! When we journal with a mindset of love, we tap into the abundance of love surrounding us.

There are two approaches you can take:

Begin journaling about all the love in your life that you appreciate and are grateful for—big and small! Once you start, you’ll find yourself overflowing with positivity. It sets a powerful momentum.

Transition from fear to love by journaling about something you’re struggling with. For instance, you might be aiming to manifest something in your life but feel stuck. Start by writing about what is currently present, the progress you’ve already made, how far you’ve come, what is working well, and express gratitude for the lessons guiding you forward.
Come Back Rate
The world will give us countless opportunities to disconnect from love. But that means it gives us countless opportunities to come back to love + strengthen our come back rate.

How can you come back to love? Write out ‘comeback’ tool kit with affirmations, rituals, or practices that can support you with this. For example:
