My Yoga and Breathwork Adventure
Navigating Tranquillity: My Yoga And Breathwork Journey
Yoga is more than just a physical practice for me. Starting with restorative yoga, I found peace using props for extended poses, bringing balance to my body, mind, and spirit. Ashtanga yoga added dynamism, rooted in vinyasa, offering physical strength, mental clarity, and inner peace. The initial spark turned into a profound transformation, leading to yoga teacher training and pranayama practices, providing calmness and relief from bad moods.
A moment occurred during a cold water immersion led by Leo Oppenheim at Blok Manchester studio. This experience expanded my practice beyond the mat. An inspiring teacher, Leo, introduced me to cold water practices, symbolising freedom and happiness. Continuing my journey in Ikaria, Greece, at Samma Karuna Awakening & Healing School, I faced challenges like OSHO dynamic meditation. Circular breathwork unlocked trapped energy and emotions, guided by Luca firewolf, a breathwork healer.
Returning to Manchester and attending a yoga festival at the farm club marked my transition. Bhastrika pranayama, lake immersion, and wim hof warm-up routines brought back a sense of freedom and happiness. The journey continued with teacher Stuart, refining my yoga practice, becoming a mentor, building confidence, and unleashing my inner self.

My Story
The story behind Yogi Imaan is closely intertwined with my personal journey. I discovered yoga when I during early stages of Covid-19 lockdown even though I had interest of yoga when I was was studying my GCSE’s, while I was working for my family business which was owned by my dad in Property Development business doing office management a job I had once loved, but unfortunately, circumstances significantly impacted my self-esteem, confidence, and mental well-being. Before long, yoga began transforming my life in unimaginable ways, inspiring me to assist others on their own journeys. When the birth of the Company Mission C (CBD Company) was created by my brother at the same time during Covid-19 lockdown happened, my brother was aware that I started doing yoga during lockdown in my bedroom, and as he went out to find people and companies to buy out his products he met a Yoga instructor and then designed that more than his Mission C company he though it would be more important to him that me being his big sister was a very happy sister so he asked the Yoga Instructor if he could train me to become an Yoga Teacher and that is the birth of how Yoga With Imaan started.
I eventually decided to leave the office management behind + dove straight into an immersive 200-hour teacher training and Restorative Yoga Training in Wilmslow, England. During my training, I was still in the early stages of my yoga practice, primarily focusing on the physical aspect. However, it didn't take long for me to discover, and fall in love with, yoga philosophy. To this day, this wisdom flows through my life, inspiring how I live + teach.
I started practicing teaching as soon as I arrived home, initially in a fitness studio room that I have at home on my low ground level teaching yoga over zoom calls to my best friend from college who lives in both Hannover, Germany and Mallorca, Spain. At the same time I continued to practice my Yoga class plan sequence that I created myself as a teacher with the support of my Yoga Instructor. A year later, in 2019, I opened my own yoga studio—a calm, cosy, and welcoming sanctuary - the Yoga With Imaan Studio. In March 2020, COVID led to the temporary closure of my studio until June 2021. However, this closure gave rise to the birth of my online yoga membership - the Inspired Club. I love + treasure the incredible opportunity to connect with like-minded souls from all corners of the globe, not just in my hometown.
I love sharing the principles of yoga-inspired living through all my work, including weekly YouTube vlogs. My intention is to share that living a yoga-inspired life doesn't necessarily mean spending hours on the mat; it's a beautiful practice that can support us in our daily lives with grace + ease.
